This section contains some details of the journeys we have made in our Citroens.

In March 2009 there is a Classic Car Day held at Whiteman Park in the northern suburbs of Perth. As a member of both A.C.E. (Association of Citroen Enthusiasts) and the web forum AussieFrogs I decided to attend. As I was expecting visitors from Eire I thought I'd take two cars and advised the organisers accordingly - intending to take an Irish guest as driver of one car.
As it eventuated my Irish guest arrived two days after the event and I had a fall in the sheep yards loading sheep that knocked me out and left me unable to get two cars to Perth. So I was only able to take 'Eloyse' to the show.

'Eloyse' at the Classic Car Show 2009 - the only 'Deese'

With our visitors from Eire a journey was planned to the south west corner of the state. We hadn't been to Busselton, Margaret River and Augusta for nearly twenty years. So our return to Denmark was via the 'Capes' (Naturaliste and Leeuwin). Nearly 1500 km round trip - Denmark to Denmark.

'Eloyse' at the Cape Leeuwin Lighthouse and at the Gloucester Tree

Our journey was pleaseant and it was a great drive with 'Eloyse' floating along the highway. As much of it was over narrower and winding roads it was fantastic and a real experience for me. Previously I'd only drive on some of the local roads and Albany Hwy between Perth and Mr Barker.
