  | | Description:
this small, 48 acre property running cattle is close to the Albany Highway at Narrikup (between Albany and Mt Barker). Only four hours drive from Perth makes it very accessible for that quiet getaway. It is ideally located to explore the Mt Barker, Frankland, Denmark and Porongorup wine growing areas. None being more than 30 minutes away.
You are also close to the Porongorup and Stirling Range National Parks as well as the regional city of Albany and the beaches and National Parks of the southern coast.

Features:
Outside the front window is a small natural lake ringed by paperbarks. Seasonally the water level rises and falls and is home to a variety of birds including the coot. (hence our name) but you are just as likely to see red-tailed cockatoos and variegated wrens, as you are spoonbills and ibis.
Take an evening stroll and watch the ever changing colors of dusk ... have a picnic in a paddock with a chilled white wine and watch the moon come up over the Porongurups ... or stoke up the fire and pick up that book you've been meaning to read. Enjoy a quiet chat with a cow as you lean on a farm gate. Share a morning cup of tea on your sunny porch with a few friendly guinea fowl.
Just bring yourselves and a supply of food.
