Following Bob and Justins departure I abandoned my plans of a scenic drive to Adelaide and turned for home.

On the southern side of Broken Hill.

Plenty of larger chicks of the emu kind. Some, sadly, splattered on the road.

The tinge of green in the country between Paratoo and Oorooroo. There are also water courses that are on you very quickly if you don't keep alert.

One of the shallow dips. Some were far more severe and could smash the sump if approached too fast.

Dust wasn't too bad as there were no other cars on this section of road.

It did reduce my rearward vision somewhat!
