The refuelling at Mundrabilla took me to Balladonia and with 200km to Norseman I wasn't sure if there would be enough petrol left. As I also wanted to check the pump I decided to refuel. When I read the price I decided to only take enough to ensure I'd make Norseman - 197.9 cpl was extortionate after 179.9 at Mundrabilla.
On arrival at Norseman I had fuel to spare and went off the main route seeking cheaper fuel. As it was now dark the local outlets were closed. I decided to move on to Salmon Gums and of course by the time I got there they too were closed. So it was for all the towns down that road. With the orange light coming on at Gibson I managed to make Esperance. Here I found a service station open and refuelled at 145.9 cpl. Not having eaten since breakfast I grabbed something to eat and set off towards Ravensthorpe. Pulled into a parking bay and ate my tea then set up for the night. Unable to settle and not feeling the best decided to head on to Ravensthorpe.
Just after midnight I pulled into a parking bay within 5 km of the town and then slept in the car - yet again.
Awoke at first light and feeling refreshed headed on to Denmark.
Arrived in time to put the Open sign up at the Museum and later went to see the big trees in the valley where we live.
Here we are just a short distance from the Great Southern Ocean - on Wentworth Road.
